Busnel is a lifestyle brand that was founded in 1920 by Monsieur and Madame Busnel. They built their own factory on the French west coast where they made woolen garments of the highest quality. The knitted fish-sweater soon became a hallmark of the brand and during World War II Busnel delivered knitted products to the French army. Later, in the 1970s, the knitted Busnelcoat with golden buttons a symbol of the chic, modern woman.
Scandinavia has always been the leading market for Busnel and in 2009 the brand was bought by the Swedish Louise Falkenberg. Along with the respected designer Marina Kereklidou had Falkenberg as a goal to rejuvenate the brand, and today Busnel stands for the meeting between the classically elegant and modern fashionable woman.
